• All data is stored privately on your iPhone
• We do not have access to your data
• Data is encrypted by iOS
• No data is shared with third parties
• No data is sent to our servers
• No accounts or registration required

How We Use Your Data

• Video clips are assembled into films using on-device processing
• Reflections are analyzed locally (on your phone) to identify patterns
• Insights are generated and stored locally
• No data leaves your device

Permissions Explained

Camera

• Used only when you record video
• Videos are stored locally on your device

Microphone

• Used only to record audio within videos
• Audio is stored locally as part of your video file

Notifications (Optional)

• One soft reminder at 10pm to reflect
• Only if you enable it in settings
• No tracking of whether you read it

Third-Party Services

• No analytics or tracking
• No ads
• No data sharing with third parties
• No remote processing of your data

Your Rights

• You own all your data
• You can access your videos anytime
• You can delete individual entries or the entire app at any time
• Data is permanently deleted when you uninstall POV

Data Retention

• Video clips: Stored until you delete them
• Reflections: Stored until you delete them
• Insight cards: Stored until you delete them
• App data: All deleted when you uninstall POV
• No backups stored on our servers

Children's Privacy

POV is not intended for children under 13. If we discover a child under 13 has provided personal information, we will delete it immediately.
